For decades, Kriss Worthington has been a progressive leader with a record of proven results. As an activist and a legislator, Kriss has been on the front lines working for progressive change on the issues that affect us all.
A lifelong Democrat, Kriss Worthington has served as a City Councilmember in Berkeley for 11 years. He will bring depth and experience to the State Assembly to be effective in fighting for you.
We can count on Kriss to stand up to Governor Schwarzenegger and Assembly Republicans. We know he will be a progressive champion, not because he says he will be, but because he already has. With an impressive track record of accomplishments on issues like education, the economy, and the environment, Kriss has been there.
And not only has Kriss been a strong progressive voice on so many issues, he has a proven record of being effective. A study of the Berkeley City Council showed that Councilmember Worthington has a remarkable 98% rate in passing hundreds of pieces of progressive legislation.
Sacramento is a fierce place where only the toughest can succeed in making change. You deserve someone who hasn't just been a progressive, but a leader with a proven record to stand on.

In a solo endorsement of Kriss, the East Bay Small Business Council endorsed Kriss's candidacy for the State Assembly last week. They now join a broad coalition of local, state, and national groups to support Kriss. Over the past 11 years as a city councilmember, Kriss has worked hard to support local small businesses by advocating for a streamlined permitting process, cutting red tape, and working at a regional level to ensure that small businesses are able to compete for larger projects.
